Larger Than Life

Yesterday I had the most wild experience - I got to see my painting, "Perkins Cove," as a digital 30x45 foot mural along the Mass Pike in Boston!

Our local PBS station, GBH, has a digital wall outside their studio that they rotate throughout the week as part of their Community Canvas program with artwork from local artists in the afternoon.  I applied a few weeks ago and heard back on Wednesday that my painting would be up on display Thursday afternoon!

Driving up to see the sign was a bit emotional, to see my work in this scale and knowing that thousands of people in the area would see it on their commute home.  This is such a well-known landmark along The Pike and to have my artwork on display for few hours was such an incredible opportunity.
This painting was created as part of my "Summer Memories" show that ended this week - it's still available to collect, and it has even more of a story now to go with it!
