FAQs
I use artist-grade professional materials in all of my work. Using the highest quality materials when it comes to paper and pigments ensures that each work is archival and will stand the test of time. My work is mostly in water-based media like watercolor, acrylic, and gouache. Acrylic works on paper are sealed with a protective varnish. I always recommend framing watercolor paintings with a UV-protective plexiglass to minimize any impact from light.
Some are, but most are not - please make sure to check the listing for a description. Paintings that are framed are usually ones that I entered into different gallery shows!

Returns
Since each order is made to order and handled with care and transparency, they are treated as final sale.
Every care has been taken to show the artwork as accurately as possible with regard to size and color. Please make sure to read each product description carefully. Colors and tones are represented as clearly and honestly as possible, but check multiple screens if concerned about color renderings. Any variation between the image represented and the actual artwork is not deemed a fault and such inconsistencies will not be a valid reason for return.
If for whatever reason your item(s) arrives damaged, please contact me directly within 7 days of receiving your order and a replacement will be sent free of charge!
Commissions
I wish I could offer commissions, but at this time I am focused on creating what inspires me and running my small business.
Framing
The right frame really makes an original painting or print pop! Plus, the protective materials of a frame will preserve your purchase for years to come. While I’m unable to offer framing, there are so many great local framers out there you should give a try! If local isn’t an option, my favorite place for custom framing is American Frame - you can pick out the frame material, matte board, backing, and plexiglass, and they’ll send you everything (mostly) assembled. I buy almost all of my frames from American Frame, and enjoy the DIY approach to framing!
When it comes to prints, I offer standard size prints that fit commercial frames, so it’s easy to find the right frame to match your decor at a store like Home Goods or Target.
I definitely recommend matting all paintings and prints; not only does it elevate the look of the work, but it protects the surface of the painting or print from sitting next to the glass.
When it comes to glass, UV protective materials like plexiglass will add longevity to the painting and prevent fading. And while I use archival and artist-grade materials in my work, always try to keep your watercolor painting out of direct sunlight to prevent any kind of fading or discoloration.
