The Marginal Way is about a 1 mile long cliff walk along the Atlantic Ocean, connecting the town of Ogunquit, Maine to the village of Perkins Cove. There are small beaches, rocky coastlines, benches along the path, and even a small lighthouse at a trolley stop. I have so many fond memories of walking along the path during summer vacations to Ogunquit over the years, and I hope these paintings capture the essence of the scenery of this "beautiful place by the sea."
